Honed through decades of Board service and leadership, our approach to Board leadership and non-profit governance is practical and pragmatic. You and your organization operate in the real world - so do we. Our advice, premised on the realities of your organization and its environment, will be a roadmap you can follow. Our goal is to help you and your organization identify gaps and opportunities, most of which stem from governance practices either in place or that are missing. Our focus is to develop with you a strategy for success that can be quickly and smoothly implemented.
Our mission is to help you and your organization succeed through good governance, by giving Board leaders and their organizations the tools to succeed in good times and bad. We are committed to your success.

Manager:
Prior to earning his law degree, Ross managed the neonatal intensive care unit and all surgical units of Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY for four years.
In 2020, Ross was asked to step in as Executive Director on an interim basis for the Flower City Arts Center in Rochester. Ross filled the role when the position suddenly became vacant shortly before the onset of COVID-19. He continued throughout the COVID shutdown and the Center's physical re-opening. Under his leadership, Flower City Arts Center experienced no layoffs and in fact hired 2 new staff members during the pandemic. Through hard work and a full-team effort, the Center pivoted from an organization that relied solely on hands-on learning to one that now provides a host of virtual, hybrid and in-person learning opportunities.
Board Volunteer and Leader:
Civic-minded and committed to the importance of non-profit organizations, Ross has volunteered with 20 entities. Those non-profits have ranged from small entities with localized mission and budgets under $100,000 to large entities with broad missions and budgets well over $100,000,000. Over the years, Ross has sat in every seat that a non-profit volunteer can fill - Board member, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice Chair, Chair Elect, Chair and Past Chair. Below is a sampling of the organizations and his role.
